aubio.pd_linux

hello,
i am using pure data 0.39.2 (it also failed it pd. 0.40) on linux. after compiling and loading the external in pd:
/usr/local/lib/pd/extra/aubio.pd_linux: /usr/local/lib/pd/extra/aubio.pd_linux: invalid ELF header 

what can it be?
